چکیده

ObjectiveA meta-analysis was performed to compare survival outcomes including disease-free (DFS) between laparoscopic radical hysterectomy (LRH) and abdominal (ARH) in patients with cervical cancer.Data SourcesWe searched PubMed, EMBASE, Google scholar, the Cochrane library for studies published December 2004 May 2020. Manual searches of related articles relevant bibliographies were also performed. Methods Study SelectionTwo researchers independently extracted data. Studies outcome information included.Tabulation, Integration, ResultsA total 36 eligible clinical trials included this meta-analysis. When all pooled, hazard ratio (HR) LRH risk DFS overall (OS) compared ARH 1.24 (95% confidence interval [CI], 1.09–1.41; p = .001; I2 37.5%) 1.27 CI, 1.04–1.56; .020; 45.5%), respectively. In a subgroup analysis, significant harmful effects increased using HR presented by article (HR, 1.41; 95% 1.21–1.64; <.001), matched retrospective design 1.49; 1.19–1.88; .001), large-scale 1.34; 1.16–1.55; after Laparoscopic Approach Cervical Cancer trial 1.46; 1.25–1.71; <.001). However, did not affect 1.04; 0.59–1.81; .898) or OS 0.57; 0.31–1.05; .073) cancer masses <2 cm.ConclusionThis demonstrated that associated higher recurrence rates than ARH. showed similar among cm (Centre Reviews Dissemination 42020191713).

Postoperative pain and perioperative outcomes after laparoscopic radical hysterectomy and abdominal radical hysterectomy in patients with early cervical cancer: a randomised controlled trial

BACKGROUND Non-randomised studies have suggested that the postoperative complications of (Campos LS, Limberger LF, Stein AT, Kalil AN) laparoscopic radical hysterectomy are similar to those in abdominal radical hysterectomy. However, no study evaluating postoperative pain comparing both techniques has been published thus far. Our objective was to compare pain intensity and other perioperative o...

Robotic radical hysterectomy is superior to laparoscopic radical hysterectomy and open radical hysterectomy in the treatment of cervical cancer

OBJECTIVE Cervical cancer (CC) continues to be a global burden for women, with higher incidence and mortality rates reported annually. Many countries have witnessed a dramatic reduction in the prevalence of CC due to widely accessed robotic radical hysterectomy (RRH). This network meta-analysis aims to compare intraoperative and postoperative outcomes in way of RRH, laparoscopic radical hystere...

Robotic Radical Hysterectomy Versus Total Laparoscopic Radical Hysterectomy With Pelvic Lymphadenectomy for Treatment of Early Cervical Cancer

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES To compare intraoperative, pathologic and postoperative outcomes of robotic radical hysterectomy (RRH) to total laparoscopic radical hysterectomy (TLRH) in patients with early stage cervical carcinoma. METHODS We prospectively analyzed cases of TLRH or RRH with pelvic lymphadenectomy performed for treatment of early cervical cancer between 2000 and 2008. RESULTS Th...

Robotic Surgery Versus Abdominal and Laparoscopic Radical Hysterectomy in Cervical Cancer

The first abdominal radical hysterectomy has been performed by Ernst Wertheim, one of the most famous 19th century surgeons, and still remains the basis for many surgeons nowadays. The technique was then modified by Meigs in 1950s. Piver and colleagues have described five classes of surgery based on the estimated risk of cervical carcinoma involvement; moreover, a new classification has been re...

Prognostic and Safety Roles in Laparoscopic Versus Abdominal Radical Hysterectomy in Cervical Cancer: A Meta-analysis

OBJECTIVE Studies comparing the prognostic results between laparoscopic radical hysterectomy (LRH) and abdominal radical hysterectomy (ARH) in cervical cancer reported contradictory results. We aimed to evaluate the prognostic and safety roles of LRH by pooling studies in a meta-analysis. MATERIALS AND METHODS Original articles were searched in PubMed, EMBASE, and the Cochrane Library. The su...
